Review by hotel critic
Hotel Palio in Asti is the perfect retreat after a day exploring the beautiful nearby hills and vineyards. The room was cozy, with a comfortable bed and a private balcony for enjoying evening drinks. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating despite my late check-in. Laura's Restaurant on the first floor offered a delightful dining experience, with Luca, the maitre 'd, providing excellent recommendations for wine pairings. The stuffed pasta dish I ordered was delicious, and the breakfast spread had a good variety of options. The central location made it convenient to explore the town and nearby attractions.
